PriceAmThese Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PriceAm mobile application, website at priceam.ideat8.com, and related services (together, the “Service”), operated by PriceAm (“PriceAm”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using PriceAm, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may delete your account at any time — see our Account Deletion page.
4. Price Information
PriceAm displays market prices that are crowd-sourced and indicative. Prices are contributed by users and partners and may not reflect the exact price at any specific market or moment.
Price data is provided for general guidance only. PriceAm does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price, forecast, or supplier listing. Always confirm prices before making a purchase.
AI forecasts and anomaly flags are statistical estimates, not financial advice. You rely on them at your own discretion.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or manipulated price data;
- Scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its data without permission;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
6. PriceAm Pro & Payments
Some features are offered through a paid subscription (“PriceAm Pro”). Subscriptions are billed through the app store from which you downloaded the app (e.g. Google Play) and are subject to that store's billing terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and the applicable app-store policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, logos, software, and content (excluding user-submitted data), is owned by PriceAm and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal or internal business use.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PriceAm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on price data, forecasts, supplier listings, or transactions entered into with third parties.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
