PriceAm gives you full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data at any time, directly from the app or by request.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the PriceAm app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account (or Profile → Account).
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and personal data are removed immediately and permanently.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, your account, history, and personal data cannot be recovered.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email support@ideat8.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my account”. To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account. We process verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data, including:
- Your profile (name, email, city, role, language, preferences);
- Your price submissions and any photos you uploaded;
- Your alerts, watchlist, and saved items;
- Your orders, inventory, and delivery records;
- Authentication and push-notification tokens.
What may be retained
- Anonymised price data: contributions are de-identified and may remain part of aggregated market trends, with no link back to you.
- Legal & financial records: limited transaction or invoice records we are required to keep by law (e.g. tax or accounting obligations) for the period required, after which they are deleted.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription billed through an app store. Please also cancel PriceAm Pro in your Google Play (or relevant app-store) account to stop future charges. See our Refund Policy.
